    CASCO ANTIGUO Y CINTA COSTERA<\/mark><\/p>\n

    El evento descrito en la segunda parte<\/a>, mi raz\u00f3n principal para pegarme esa escapada de fin de semana a Panam\u00e1, dur\u00f3 desde medio d\u00eda hasta que anocheci\u00f3.<\/p>\n

    El casco antiguo de Ciudad de Panam\u00e1 es patrimonio de la humanidad<\/a> de la UNESCO<\/strong>. All\u00ed fue donde trasladaron la ciudad cuando la original fue destruida por el pirata<\/a> Henry Morgan<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n[aesop_parallax img=”https:\/\/www.alpharamirez.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_1140.jpg” parallaxbg=”off” captionposition=”bottom-left” lightbox=”off” floater=”off” floaterposition=”left” floaterdirection=”none” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Se cre\u00eda que el nuevo lugar estaba mejor protegido contra ataques de este tipo, si ocurrieran de nuevo.<\/p>\n

    En el casco antiguo por supuesto hay varias edificaciones hist\u00f3ricas, muchas de car\u00e1cter religioso.<\/p>\n[aesop_parallax img=”https:\/\/www.alpharamirez.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_1143.jpg” parallaxbg=”off” captionposition=”bottom-left” lightbox=”off” floater=”off” floaterposition=”left” floaterdirection=”none” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Hay tambi\u00e9n museos, embajadas, consulados, ministerios del gobierno de Panam\u00e1 y el Palacio de las Garzas<\/a>, la residencia oficial del presidente de Panam\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n[aesop_gallery id=”14276″ revealfx=”off” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Uno de estos lugares es la Plaza de Francia<\/strong><\/em>.     El lugar existe en honor a Francia, ya que ellos fueron los primeros en intentar construir el Canal de Panam\u00e1.     Y por supuesto, hab\u00eda varios carros franceses del cuerpo diplom\u00e1tico acreditado del pa\u00eds en Panam\u00e1.     En sus calles se encuentra uno directamente con el mar, all\u00ed hab\u00eda unos ni\u00f1os locales ba\u00f1\u00e1ndose. Mi amiguis me dijo que hay varios proyectos de recuperaci\u00f3n, pero que ni por el putas se meter\u00eda \u00e9l a ese agua todav\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n[aesop_gallery id=”14299″ revealfx=”off” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Hablando de este tema, el casco antiguo tambi\u00e9n es hogar de ciudadanos del com\u00fan. En alg\u00fan tiempo estuvo algo descuidado, y era un lugar algo peligroso.<\/p>\n

    Con los proyectos de recuperaci\u00f3n que se han ido llevando a cabo, muchos est\u00e1n teniendo que salir porque el sector se ha vuelto caro -se ha gentrificado<\/strong><\/em>-, y hay tensiones entre estos habitantes hist\u00f3ricos y las autoridades por las nuevas realidades que se est\u00e1n viviendo.<\/p>\n[aesop_parallax img=”https:\/\/www.alpharamirez.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_1138.jpg” parallaxbg=”off” captionposition=”bottom-left” lightbox=”off” floater=”off” floaterposition=”left” floaterdirection=”none” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Cuando fui, tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda variada manifestaci\u00f3n cultural, y en adici\u00f3n a eso, grupos de turistas chinos. A lo mejor llegaron en el vuelo de Air China.<\/p>\n

    Tambi\u00e9n vi otro grupo de turistas rusos, me qued\u00e9 escuchando al gu\u00eda solo para o\u00edr el idioma.     En el lugar vi muchos gaticos andando por ah\u00ed, o resguard\u00e1ndose del calor que estaba haciendo. Eso me gust\u00f3 mucho.<\/p>\n\n[aesop_gallery id=”14325″ revealfx=”off” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Ah\u00ed en el casco antiguo se dieron algunos de los eventos que culminaron con la separaci\u00f3n de Panam\u00e1 de Colombia.<\/p>\n

    Una vez terminado el evento en la noche, nos fuimos por ah\u00ed a andar por la cinta costera. A m\u00ed me gusta mucho ver ciudades con rascacielos de noche, una de las mejores vistas que he tenido de ese tipo ha sido Hong Kong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Y bueno, Ciudad de Panam\u00e1 esa noche no estaba nada mal.<\/p>\n

    La vista no decepcion\u00f3 para nada.     Hab\u00eda muchas parejas tambi\u00e9n, y a cada rato pasaba una moto de la polic\u00eda ah\u00ed viendo qu\u00e9 o qu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

    Despu\u00e9s de un par de horas ah\u00ed viendo, tomando fotos, y hablando bobadas, era momento de irnos.     Saliendo del lugar, vi otro gatico por ah\u00ed andando.     Al regreso, un domingo por la noche, ya hab\u00eda taco.     El fin de semana hab\u00eda pasado muy exitosamente, con el evento y las andanzas por Ciudad de Panam\u00e1 y alrededores. Ya era momento de regresar.<\/p>\n

    El vuelo sal\u00eda algo antes de las 0900 hora local. No est\u00e1bamos muy lejos de Panam\u00e1 Pac\u00edfico, pero el vuelo era un lunes por la ma\u00f1ana, d\u00eda laboral.<\/p>\n

    \u00bfRecuerdan que el viernes anterior que hab\u00eda llegado mi amiguis no quiso ir Ciudad de Panam\u00e1 por el taco tan jodido?<\/p>\n

    Pues ahora me iba a tocar experimentarlo. Yo en un principio no lo cre\u00eda, pero si iba a llegar a tiempo al vuelo, ten\u00edamos que salir por ah\u00ed a las 0500. Eran m\u00e1s o menos 30 kil\u00f3metros, y yo hab\u00eda calculado llegar entre 0700 y 0730.<\/p>\n

    Pero mi amiguis sab\u00eda m\u00e1s como es el asunto, y le cre\u00ed. Ni modo, a las 0500 qued\u00f3 la salida.<\/p>\n

    Unos minutos despu\u00e9s de las 0500 emprendimos nuestro camino a Panam\u00e1 Pac\u00edfico, y en efecto, no demoramos mucho para encontrarnos el legendario taco.     O sea, quedan todos los carriles en sentido Panam\u00e1 Oeste – Ciudad de Panam\u00e1, incluyendo los que se usan en sentido contrario cuando no son esas horas.<\/p>\n

    El caso es que por fin llegamos, afortunadamente a tiempo.<\/p>\n

    Nos despedimos, y pas\u00e9 a hacer la revisi\u00f3n de pasaporte antes de salir. El oficial dijo:<\/p>\n

    -“Andr\u00e9s Felipe Ram\u00edrez… 24 de abril, colombiano, buscado por delitos contra la seguridad p\u00fablica \u00a1Casi le pegas!”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    Luego sonri\u00f3 y me dej\u00f3 seguir. Yo no me llamo Andr\u00e9s Felipe. Nac\u00ed en abril, pero no en ese d\u00eda, y nadie me est\u00e1 buscando jijiji.<\/p>\n

    Justo despu\u00e9s de eso anunciaron que el vuelo tendr\u00eda un retraso de dos horas. Cuando yo estaba ya en la sala de espera el Avi\u00f3n apenas estaba prendiendo motores en Bogot\u00e1, desde d\u00f3nde ven\u00eda.<\/p>\n

    Ni modo, toc\u00f3 esperar. Nos dieron una empanada chilena por el retraso… y no cay\u00f3 mal juju.<\/p>\n

    Ah\u00ed en la plataforma hab\u00eda un McDonnell-Douglas C-17 Globemaster<\/strong><\/strong> de la USAF, y varios helic\u00f3pteros del gobierno operando.<\/p>\n\n[aesop_gallery id=”14500″ revealfx=”off” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Eventualmente lleg\u00f3 el Avi\u00f3n, justo el mismo en que hab\u00eda llegado unos d\u00edas antes.     Esta vez me sent\u00e9 en un puesto al otro lado del Avi\u00f3n, y tambi\u00e9n estaba rayado.     Despegamos pues, y pronto tuve una vista privilegiada de Ciudad de Panam\u00e1, el puente de las Am\u00e9ricas, y varias partes donde hab\u00eda ido como el cerro Anc\u00f3n, el casco antiguo, parte del Aeropuerto Marcos A.Gelabert<\/strong><\/em>, y otras cosas.<\/p>\n[aesop_gallery id=”14522″ revealfx=”inplace” overlay_revealfx=”off”]\n

    Entre las monta\u00f1as fuimos descendiendo, hasta que hicimos un viraje para volar de nuevo rumbo norte y alinearnos con la pista del Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda C\u00f3rdova<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
